Danny started fencing in 2008 at Mechanicsville Fencing Academy. After moving to Richmond Fencing Club a few years later, he switched to Epee as his primary blade and earned a C rating in 2013. Danny continued fencing at RFC in college, taking private lessons with Damien Lehfeldt and updating his rating to a C2018. Danny recently moved back to Virginia in 2025 and resumed fencing at Richmond Fencing Club, earning his C2026 at the Tom Lucente Hangover Classic.

Danny currently teaches the intermediate epee class with David and Mike, and offers private lessons in epee.
